Let the show begin – present your act live on the IKF stages!

Once a year, the cultural and event scene meets at the International Kulturbörse Freiburg to exchange information, to network - and above all: to discover new artists! While around 400 exhibitors present what the culture and event industry currently has to offer in the exhibition hall, the artists have several live stages at their disposal, where they can arouse the curiosity of the 5,000 trade visitors with short performances of 20 minutes about their artistic projects!
Important to know: The IKF is a trade fair and an international industry gathering, it is not a festival. This means that artists/ensembles have to apply for a live performance if they want to present themselves at the IKF.
Annually changing juries select the performing artists exclusively from the submitted applications.

Applications

Applications for the IKF 2025 are no longer possible.

Interested artists can apply for the IKF 2026 in spring 2025.

Why a live performance is worthwhile!

  • The IKF is a trade fair, not a festival. This means that the audience does not consist of "normal spectators", but of representatives of the culture and event industry, and here mainly of professional organizers.
  • At the IKF, the professional audience is specifically looking for artists and ensembles and productions for their stages, festivals, corporate events and book artists and ensembles both directly on site and in the follow-up to the fair.
  • Use the IKF as a "springboard".
  • The IKF is the ideal platform to make new contacts, to network and to increase your level of awareness in the industry
