Nora Nora Nora

«Nora Nora Nora» analyzes and reflects on a possible or impossible escape of three women from their family idyll.

«Nora,Nora, Nora. We are not one and the same person. We are possibilities.

Perspectives of a radical self-discovery.»

Eva Rottmann takes up what Henrik Ibsen negotiated

with the female character Nora 140 years ago, equality in society and the

family, and continues to tell the story today. Three women meet and want to know who Nora was, why she went away, leaving her husband and children behind. The women come to terms with their life plans, their own demands and expectations. The levels of the story shift until they dissolve. The wonderful thing we are looking for appears as a new narrative, as visionary thinking for today's society.
