Inviting

Karoline Weidt and her voice are at the beginning of a promising career. Her music sounds inviting - a fitting title for her quartet's debut album: ‘Inviting’. Weidt discovered her artistic destiny at an early age. ‘I've always sung,’ she says, ’after the children's choir I took professional singing lessons.’ Most of the songs on ‘Inviting’ were written by her, both the music and many of the lyrics. ‘I need peace and quiet to write songs,’ explains Weidt. ‘I found it difficult to write lyrics at first, but now I love playing with words.’ ‘Inviting’ combines many different songs and moods with casual virtuosity.
