Sonce U Serci

LELÉKA ("Stork") is a young multicultural Berlin quartet around the Ukrainian singer Viktoria, whose voice determines the character and atmosphere of this band's music. The band's sound spectrum, ranging from dynamic grooving passages to tender folk ballad tones, finds a fitting framework in a thoroughly contemporary jazz language, which the quartet has developed into a diversified concept. LELÉKA is a successful example of a young formation that takes a well-considered place within this borderline genre. The pieces on the current album "Sonce U Serci" deal with happiness and love as well as sadness, despair and concern for nature. In essence, however, it is about confidence, conveyed through the power of melodies and the personalities who dedicate themselves to them.
