The flying concert

Tenor Stenzel and Mister Kivits have been on stage together since 2000. They are known in the scene for their supreme musicality in classical music and opera arias. And also for their ludicrous humour, which makes music stands dance, piano stools fall and grand pianos fly. In their 20th year, Stenzel & Kivits are expanding their musical horizons for a new street theatre programme - and are now including pieces from the world of jazz on their set list. In doing so, they find new ways to intensify their comic moments with specially built musical instruments and always spot-on humour interludes. In ‘The Flying Concert’, Stenzel & Kivits combine virtuoso playing and breathtaking madness - always fast-paced, often archaic. A bit of Michael Bublé and a piece by Sinatra never hurt...
