Hands / Trees Album

Almost Twins became an insider tip in the Leipzig and Berlin indie scene even before their first release. Within a year, they played festivals and clubs across Germany before recording their debut album Hands / Trees (May 2024) with producer Alexander Binder. After two tours and supporting Dekker on 16 dates, they will tour 10 German cities in 2025. The first single from their second album will drop alongside the tour. Singer Max Grüner, who founded Almost Twins as a solo project, found musical twins in Laurenz Welten (saxophone, clarinet), Valentin Mühlberger (Wurlitzer, synth), Arne Imig (bass), and Raphael Schuster (drums). Blending warm synth layers, swirling Wurlitzer patterns, and dreamy brass, they create a sound reminiscent of Erlend Øye and José González – calm, profound, yet full of energy.
