Tandem

A flipping fantastic folk & roots music duo that takes you on an exciting musical journey across Europe and North America. Winners of the FREIBURGER LEITER 2023. With their strong voices, banjo, accordion and violin, Magdalena Kriss and Dan Wall create a diverse soundscape with grit and energy that visibly delights the audience and the two musicians alike. In the summer months, the duo can be found using their tandem bicycle as a “tour bus.” In the name of environmentalism and “slow touring” the duo relishes in the freedom that a bicycle allows and the opportunity to discover new people, cultures and landscapes. Until the end of June 2025, they are part of the Förderkatalog Musikkulturen NRW.

Debut album “Tandem” (2021), 2x nominated for the “Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik”; 2nd album “Believe Me Everything” (spring 2026).
