Now a multiple award-winner, William Wahl presents his third program with “wahlweise”. His songs not only resound live in front of sold-out venues across Germany, but have also been heard millions of times on the Internet.

His wordplay is a reliable source of laughter, but it is the very special mixture of poetry and comedy that stands out. With impressive elegance and comedic subtlety, he spans the great arc between cabaret and art, comedy and piano. 

His piano songs are bittersweet, and in them he always maintains a loving view of life despite his very fine observation of human weaknesses. Not least in his song “Rein versehentlich einvernehmlich”, he shows us that we might still be able to manage love after all. Despite everything. Or to put it in his words: “The other side of the coin is also made of gold“.
